Steven Phillips, CPP, CHPP

Steve is a Retired Senior Customs and Border Protection Officer with 30+ years of experience in cross border trade, travel and supply chain security. He understands the complexity of the C-TPAT Program, AEO Programs and the requirements for compliance that strengthen the various supply chains. Steve has been a Regional Security Manager for a multi-national company in Mexico as well as a Director for C-TPAT Training and Compliance in Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean. He has created and managed a global training and awareness program recognized by Customs and Border Protection. Steve is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) who also studied Administration of Justice. Steve is a member of the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) and certified by the National Sheriff's Association Institute for Homeland Security. With businesses importing products into the USA from all over the world; and particularly from Canada, Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean, being bilingual and bicultural allows him to fully understand the needs of each business partner.
